I made a banner for my photo myspace
SO APPARENTLY
Zombiesonfilm.com, the actual domain name, was bought... somehow.
the email correspondence.
from me:
I had a photography site. called ZombiesOnFilm. Apparently your
> site
> (somehow, magically) owns my domain name. How do I go about getting it back? I
> need to rebuild my site and obviously can not without the domain name
> in my name and not your companies. if you could please let me know
> that would be wonderful. thank you so much.

the response I got:
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, we are not currently
entertaining offers for any of our domain names. However, if you prefer,
we can keep your email on file and contact you if the domain becomes
available. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Customer Service

the response they will read and not respond to for another week and half:
PortfolioBrains Customer service tyrants,
well. Firstly, I'm curious how you even got a hold of my domain name in the first place. Could you please explain that to me. ALSO, YES keep my email on file. so that I can give you and your company money to buy back the domain name I have been using since 2006. you seem to be evil internet wizards and your powers are awe inspiring, to say the least.
I look forward to our next email interaction.
thanks a lot.
- Jenn.
I AM PISSED.

HAHA. "Internet wizards" and "awe inspiring" all in the same sentence. You are amazing.
